If you need assistance in determining if Fred Hutch is engaged in human research per OHRP guidance, please contact IRO@fredhutch.org. The IRO does not currently have a formal process for engagement determinations but can provide a letter certifying non-engagement if required by the funding agency/sponsor.
If it is determined that Fred Hutch is not engaged, keep a copy of the communication with the IRO for your records; this documentation may be necessary for future funding verification requests.
