Required Tasks for Access to Fred Hutch

As an organization with a wide variety of institutional relationships and collaborations, there are many individuals that may require access to our campus or our network that are not on our payroll (non-employees). It's our obligation to maintain strict standards regarding access to our confidential information and study data. To become a non-employee at Fred Hutch, you must have a Fred Hutch employee sponsor, complete our non-employee tasks, and pass the required background check.

  1. Complete the non-employee tasks via the link that was emailed to you from our HR system, Workday.  In order to access the system, you will have received a follow-up email with your temporary password. 

    If you are unable to find these emails in your inbox, please check your junk email for a message from fhscca@workday.com.  If you did not recieve these emails, please contact our HR Operations team at hrops@fredhutch.org or at (206) 667-4700.

  2. After successfully completing your non-employee paperwork, you will need to visit the transportation office to receive your badge and IT Help Desk to receive your network credentials.  See contact information and hours below.

  3. Your sponsoring manager will be in touch with you regarding your first day, including where to report and at what time.

Due to COVID-19 prevention efforts, Human Resources, Transportation and IT will be on-site during limited hours.  Please contact each department for specific scheduling requests.
