EH&S performs annual audits of the Hutch laboratories, and recommends that lab workers review our Laboratory Safety Evaluation Form at regular intervals throughout the year. This form serves as a reminder to attend to health and safety issues regularly and avoid having hazards accrue over time.
To prepare new lab employees to deal with hazards that may arise at work, and in order to ensure that Fred Hutch is in compliance with regulatory requirements, each new lab employee must fill out a New Lab Employee Training Checklist Form. Each completed list must be kept in a regulatory compliance file in the laboratory in which the employee works.
